Taunton
The largest town in Somerset, serving a
catchment of over 350,000.
A stunning rural setting with first class
business credentials. For the past decade, the town's
economy has outperformed the national average and this
trend looks set to continue.
Undergoing a once-in-a-generation redevelopment,
referred to as Project Taunton. Nearly 50 hectares of
brownfield land is being redeveloped to create:
- at least 18,000 new homes across the whole of
Taunton
- 80,000m² of employment space
- 50,000m² of new retail space
- at least 7,000 new jobs.
Project Taunton aims to be the first
economically viable carbon net-zero development of its kind in the
UK.
The commuter train to London takes just 1½ hours,
the M5 is just a 10 minute drive from the town centre and there are
two international airports within 40 minutes
drive.
