Sawmills Studio
Who they are
What do Robert Plant, Oasis and Wet, Wet, Wet
have in common? They have all recorded landmark material at
Cornwall's premier recording Studio, Sawmills Studio.
What they do
The studio is housed in a 17th century mill on
the banks of the River Fowey which is accessible only by boat. It
offers a unique creative atmosphere, combining the latest in
digital recording technology and expertise with the breathtaking
beauty of the Cornish landscape.
In 2004, Sawmills reached a milestone in its
history: 30 years of recording, mixing and producing some of this
country's most influential bands and musicians. Other bands whose
careers have been entrusted to the expertise of Sawmills include:
The Stone Roses, Oasis, Supergrass, Muse and The Needles.
The Sawmill wheel may have stopped turning at
the turn of the 20th century but the musical cycle at Sawmills
looks set to keep on turning well into the 21st.
