Airports

The South West has some of the UK's fastest growing airports, including Bristol, Exeter and Bournemouth.

Bristol International Airport

Located just eight miles from Bristol City Centre, Bristol International Airport has flights to 330 destinations worldwide, including New York, major European business hubs and key UK destinations. Ongoing investments have led to a new check-in extension and improved retail and catering facilities. The airport was voted Best UK Airport by the readers of specialist travel magazine, Wanderlust.

Bournemouth Airport

Bournemouth Airport grew by a massive 46% in 2002. There are regular flights to Dublin, Glasgow and the Channel Islands, as well as major European business and holiday destinations.

Exeter Airport

Exeter airport recently doubled in capacity. It is now officially the fastest growing airport in the country. It operates regular daily domestic flights as well as flights to major European hubs. The airport is expanding to include new terminal facilities.

Newquay Airport

Formerly a military base, Newquay Airport is capable of taking the very largest modern jets. There are daily flights to London Gatwick, Luton and many other UK airports.

Plymouth City Airport

Located only 20 minutes by car from the city centre, Plymouth Airport operates regular daily domestic flights.
